Billing & plans

How Pilot, Captain, and Fleet differ, what happens when you upgrade or cancel, and what we charge for.

Compass has three plans: Pilot (free), Captain ($19/mo), and Fleet ($49/mo). The full feature matrix lives on the pricing page.

Where to manage billing

Settings → Billing shows your current tier and a button to open the Stripe Customer Portal. From the portal you can change plan, update your card, download invoices, and cancel.

Captain and Fleet aren't live yet

We're in soft-launch. Pilot is the only tier you can subscribe to right now. Click Join the waitliston Pricing or Settings → Billing to get an email the day paid plans go live; you'll get a small discount as a thank-you.

What happens on upgrade?
  • You hit Checkout → Stripe handles card capture.
  • On success, your workspace tier updates within seconds (Stripe webhook → Compass).
  • Captain features (unlimited leads, custom domain, email integrations) light up immediately.
Downgrade and cancellation

From the Stripe portal, switch to a lower tier or cancel outright. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we don't pro-rate refunds for partial months unless local law requires us to.

When you downgrade past a feature's cap (e.g. Captain → Pilot, but you have 200 leads), the data stays in the workspace; you just can't add more until you re-upgrade or delete.

Refunds & disputes

Email hello@getcompass.studio within 30 days of the charge if something feels off. We'll look at it case-by-case; we're a small team, not a billing-fraud bot, and we'd rather make it right than have you fight it through your bank.
