The Calendar view

Where bookings show up by month, what the colour codes mean, and how to keep it accurate.

The Calendar at /calendar shows a 12-month rolling view of every lead with an event date. Useful for spotting busy weeks, planning gear hire, or checking that you haven't double-booked.

What appears here

Any lead with a non-null event date in the next 12 months (rolling, today through 365 days from now). Leads without an event date are invisible to the calendar.

Colour code
  • Green, won bookings. The headline number at the top of the page sums their total_value.
  • Amber, consultation done. Likely to land but not yet committed.
  • Grey, earlier stages (new enquiry, chemistry call done). Counts toward "in flight" but isn't booked revenue.
Adding event dates

Open any lead from the pipeline and edit the event date inline. CSV imports pick up dates automatically when your file has a wedding_date, event_date, shoot_date, ordate column. See CSV import for the full alias list.

Time zones

Event dates are stored as plain dates (no time component). Compass treats them as local-time-of-the-event so they don't shift when you cross a timezone.

Coming soon

Two-way sync with Google Calendar / Calendly so your consultations and bookings show up in both places without you typing them twice. Tracked under the Tree.
