Change your password
From inside the app, or via the "Forgot?" flow if you don't remember the current one.
If you remember your current password
Open Settings → Account, scroll to "Change password", enter your current password, then a new one (twice). Compass verifies the current password against your account and updates only if it matches.
If you forgot it
Sign out (or use a private window). On the sign-in page, click Forgot? next to the password field. Enter your email; we'll send a reset link. Click the link, set a new password, and you're back in.
Reset emails are sent through Resend so they should land in your inbox within seconds. If you don't see one within a minute, check spam, and if it's still missing, your email host may be blocking it. Reach out and we'll resend manually.
Why we ask for the current password
Standard belt-and-suspenders practice: it stops someone with access to a logged-in browser from silently locking you out by changing the password while you're away from the machine.
