Verify your email address
Why you see the verification banner, and how to fix a typo if you signed up with the wrong email.
When you sign up, Compass signs you in immediately so you can start using the app. You'll see a small banner at the top of every page asking you to verify the email address you signed up with.
Why verify
Verification confirms you actually own the email on the account. Once verified, password reset emails work and we know you'll receive any future product or billing notifications.
How to verify
Click the link in the verification email. The banner disappears once we register the click.
Email didn't arrive
Click Resend in the banner. Check spam. Verification emails come from compass@ on the Compass mail domain.
Typo in your email address
The banner shows the email you signed up with. If it's wrong, click Wrong email? to update it. We'll send a fresh verification to the new address.
