Contracts and e-signatures
Send a contract from a reusable template and collect a legally-useful electronic signature online.
Compass sends contracts the client can read and sign online, no printing or scanning. Write the wording once as a template and reuse it for every job.
Templates and merge fields
Create contract templates in Settings → Contract templates. Use merge fields (client name, partner name, event date, location, total) and they fill in per job when you send.
Signing
The client opens a link, reads the contract, and signs electronically. The signature and the time it was signed are stored with the document. The status moves draft → sent → signed, so you always know where it stands.
Sending automatically
A workflow step can create and send a contract on its due date. See Automatic sending, explained.
