Regions (billing in more than one currency)

Bill clients in another currency with the right tax label by setting up regions.

A region pairs a currency with the tax that applies there, so you can bill a client in their own money. For example, an Australian studio with UK clients can set up "United Kingdom = GBP + VAT" alongside "Australia = AUD + GST".

Adding a region

In Settings → Regions, add a region with a name, a currency, and (optionally) the tax rate that applies. The tax rates come from Settings → Tax rates, so add a VAT rate there first if you need one. Mark one region as the default that new clients and documents assume.

How it flows through

Tag a client with their region and their quotes and invoices follow it: amounts show in that currency and the tax line is labelled to match (VAT, GST, or sales tax). Reports keep each currency in its own total, so nothing is blended at a made-up exchange rate. A single document can still be switched to another region when needed.
